Stage Door Cabaret Coffeehouse was conceived to fill a need in our community for a place to play and hear folk, jazz and other acoustic types of music and entertainment (theater, comedy, poetry etc) plus dances. The lobby turned into a coffeehouse, as the building which was acquired for this enterprise was blessed with a funcional kitchen. This was all made possible by an economic development loan by the City of Mount Shasta through the Great Northern Corp in order to create at least 4 new jobs. Currently we have twelve employees, so the money appears to have been well spent. We sincerely hope you like our fare and our premises and our friendly, competent staff and come to see us often. We will try to make you feel at home here. Now we are beginning a new era with the showing of films in our theater. Watch for announcements.
